About
the Costa Blanca
Visit
the Costa Blanca if you are looking for miles of white sandy beaches,
tranquil inland villages, mountain scenery and one of the most cosmopolitan
coastlines in Europe. You will also find here a rich vegetation of
almond trees, vineyards, fruit orchard and palm trees. The climate
here is mild all year round - the annual average temperature is around
17ºC and rainfall and humidity are low.
The
region of Costa Blanca covers the area between Valencia in the North,
and Murcia in the South, and has over 100 km of white sandy beaches.
Many of these hold the blue flag award, for cleanliness and safety.
If
you enjoy sporting activities this region has plenty to offer you.
Golf and sailing are very popular here and are well catered for, and
many of the beaches offer a variety of water sports. Other sports
activities available include fishing, diving, athletics, football,
tennis, trekking, mountaineering, adventure sports, horse riding and
tennis. And the good weather here means you can exercise outdoors
longer than in other parts of Europe, for maximum enjoyment and health
benefits.
Like
most European destinations, the Costa Blanca offers a wide variety
of nightlife, from quiet restaurants and bars, to busy, vibrant bars,
entertainment and night clubs. There is something here to suit everyone's
tastes.
