Holidays in Jįvea...
As an Independent Traveller you should expect freedom and value for money by organising your holiday yourself. Traditional Package Holidays, organised by Travel Agents and Booking Agents, mean that the traveller incurs the additional cost of the fees from these companies. Organising the entire holiday yourself means that you get real choice concerning the actual property you choose to stay at, and if you make your reservation with us you can be sure that this property will be both unique and of a high standard.
Most of the accommodation we offer in and around Jįvea will far exceed the equivalent package holiday offering. Having a privately rented Villa or Apartment in Jįvea means that you are free to arrange your time, and to do exactly what you wish with the time you have at our properties. All of the accommodation we offer is self-catering, so you can enjoy your stay at your own pace, and choose what to eat, and when to eat it. Although we have a local Property Managers office in Jįvea you will not be interrupted by holiday reps trying to organise additional events and activities - instead, our office will provide support and assistance should you need it.
All of the properties we offer are managed and maintained by our local Property Managers in Jįvea, and this means that by organising your own vacation you are cutting out any third party booking agent.
Making a Booking...
Once you have found a Villa or Apartment that you would like to visit, you must email> or telephone us> us to reserve it.
We will then confirm it's availability and send you a Booking Form, and our 'Terms & Conditions'. A 25% deposit will be required to secure the reservation (unless you are travelling within eight weeks, in which case the full amount will be due), and once we receive that deposit, along with your completed Booking Form, the accommodation is officially Booked for you.
Choosing your Jįvea Villa or Apartment...
Most of the properties we offer for rental are based in and around Jįvea. You should click on one of the links below to view the Villas and Apartments we have available in the area:
Villas in Jávea> - Villas in and around Jįvea
Apartments in Jávea> - Apartments in and around Jįvea
Once the page has loaded you should click on the image, or on the property name, to view the description, pictures and prices. All of the published prices are per week, and are given in GBP £. The maximum number of guests is indicated, although we are often able to allow an additional guest using a z-bed (supplement charge applies), and infants are not counted in the 'maximum number' given. We are able to provide cots and high chairs if required, and there is an additional charge for these items to cover the supply of linen and the additional maid service required. Please note that unlike our properties in the Algarve, maid service is not included in the weekly rate, and is only available upon request and at an additional cost.
Flying to Jįvea...
Flying to Jávea>
Most of the low cost airlines fly regularly to the Costa Blanca, but if you require more assistance please speak with your Bookings Representative and they will be able to provide additional support.
Before you travel to Jįvea...
Now that you have booked your flights and accommodation take a moment to make sure that you also have the following essential items in order and in place before you leave for the airport:
-
Directions - We provide clients with written instructions taking them from their chosen airport to our offices in Jįvea. This document is usually sent to clients by email approximately 10 days before they are due to arrive. If you have not received this document, or you have lost it, please make sure you have a copy before you depart.
-
Travel Insurance - We are required by law to hold the travel insurance details of the passenger who made the reservation with us. This information can be useful if you or your party become ill, or suffer a mishap whilst in Jįvea. You must have travel insurance before you depart.
-
Passports - Although Spain is a member of the European Union, British visitors must have a valid passport before they visit. Please check that your passport is valid for the entire duration of your stay, and if you are unsure of the validity please contact your local Passport Office or the British Embassy.
-
Contact Number - We ask all of our clients to provide us with their local contact number (ie: mobile number) if they have one. If you will not be travelling with a mobile telephone then please make sure that you have with you both our office number and the number of our office in Jįvea - this will also be included in the arrival information and 'directions' document sent to you. Although someone from our local office will call to visit you we advise that you make it possible for us to contact you whilst you are staying at your Villa or Apartment if possible.
Below is a list of some of the most commonly asked questions our clients have - please take a moment to look at these as you will find that many of your questions have already been answered here:
Are Towels & Linen provided?
Yes, all of our properties are fully equipped with towels & linen which will be changed during your stay. We do not provide beach towels, or any towel that you may wish to use outside of the property (around the pool for example) and you must bring these with you. If you use one of the towels provided by use outside of the property you may be charged an additional amount for professional laundering. We do not normally provide linen for cots, but we will do so upon request.
What time can I enter my Villa or Apartment?
You should expect to be able to enter your property at 1400 hours. If the villa is larger than 4 bedrooms then this time will be 1600 hours. Departure from the property is at 1000 hours unless we have agreed to an extension. In reality we will always do our best to get you in to your property as early as possible - even if that means using only certain rooms whilst the maids complete their work.
Can we arrange car hire & airport transfers?
Yes we can. The grey menu bar at the top of every webpage has an option for 'car hire' and if you click on the Link to 'Vehicle Info' you will be able to view the type of vehicles we are able to pre-book for you, and the prices. We can also arrange transfers to and from various Airports on the Costa Blanca, and if you would like a fixed quotation for these please email admin@spanish-villa-holidays.co.uk> quoting your Booking Reference Number. Please remember that we will need your full flight details, and re-confirmation of the number of adults and children in your party.
Will my Villa or Apartment have an iron & board?
Yes, normally there will be an iron & board in all Villas. For Apartments please email us to confirm this availability. In your Villa, if there is not, then please call the property Manager whose details you will have been given in your 'Arrival Instructions' document - they will be happy to supply one.
Will you send me my Account Statement, Arrival Instructions, & other documentation by post?
No. All documentation will be sent by email unless you specifically request it is sent in another format.
When will I receive Arrival Instructions?
All Arrival Information will be sent to you by email approximately 10 days before you are due to arrive. You should make sure that we have your correct email address at all times - unless we are informed otherwise, all documentation will be sent to the email address you gave us on your original Booking Form. The Arrival Information will include details of how to find your property, along with the telephone numbers to be used if you have a problem whilst you are staying with us.
Does my property have maid service?
No. You should refer to the web page of the property you have reserved for specific information on the cleaning and laundry arrangements. Please note that the maid is there for general cleaning only, and will not wash up after you or launder your cloths unless you make a special arrangement in advance.
Is a 'Welcome Pack' provided?
No. We do not provide as standard a 'Welcome Pack' but if you are on a late flight & would like some basic provisions available when you arrive please email admin@spanish-villa-holidays.co.uk>. Please quote your Booking Reference Number and include a small shopping list. We will then do our best to make sure the items are available when you arrive, and you will be able to pay our local representative when they call to meet with you.
Are cots & high chairs available?
Yes, in most villas we can supply cots and high chairs for a small additional charge to cover the extra maid service, transportation, and maintenance. You should check before making your reservation that the property you have in mind is suitable for infants and the supply of a cot.
Will a Security Deposit be taken?
Upon arrival at our offices in Jįvea a Security Deposit will be requested from you. You will have been advised how much this will be in your Account Statement. If you fail to provide the Security Deposit you will not be given access to the property you have reserved. You should contact accounts@spanish-villa-holidays.co.uk>, quoting your Booking Reference Number, if you wish to have further information on this subject.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately it is Company policy not to allow pets of any kind to stay in or at our properties.
